Zentrum ÜBERLEBEN gGmbH, operator of these pages, takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection declaration. We would like to provide you with information about our work on our website and refer you as the legal basis for this to the processing for the protection of our legitimate interests according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. As far as on our sides personal data (for example name, address or e-mail addresses) are raised, this takes place, as far as possible, always on voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your expressed consent.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Server-Log Files

When you visit our website, the provider stores data in so-called server log files, which your Internet browser automatically transmits to the provider, in particular:

If you send us enquiries by e-mail, your details will be used for the purpose of processing your request. enquiry and stored with us in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent. We delete the requests if they are no longer necessary. We continually review; the legal retention periods also apply.

Writing Therapy

All persons involved in the writing therapy are bound to confidentiality, i.e. all information is treated strictly confidential. Only individual therapists have access to the data and texts. The answers to the questionnaire are stored by means of numbers, so that their origin cannot be traced. The confidentiality of the data is strictly guaranteed at all times, i.e. before, during and after the study.

Participation in this study is voluntary. If the consent to participate is revoked at a later stage of treatment, this has no negative consequences for the treatment. The possibility of withdrawal or resignation is available to the participants at any time and does not have to be justified. To withdraw your consent, please contact your therapist.

Your Rights as a User

When processing your personal data, the DSGVO grants you as a website user certain rights:

Right to information (Art. 15 DSGVO)

You have the right to request confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you are processed; if this is the case, you have a right of access to this personal data and to the information specified in Article 15 of the DSGVO.

Right to correction and deletion (Articles 16 and 17 DSGVO)

You have the right to immediately request the correction of incorrect personal data concerning you and, if necessary, the completion of incomplete personal data. They also have the right to request that personal data concerning them be deleted immediately if one of the reasons specified in Art. 17 DSGVO applies, e.g. if the data are no longer required for the purposes pursued.

Right to limitation of processing (Art. 18 DSGVO)

You have the right to request a restriction on processing if one of the conditions set out in Article 18 DSGVO is met, e.g. if you have lodged an objection to processing, for the duration of any examination.

Right to data transferability (Art. 20 DSGVO)

In certain cases, which are detailed in Article 20 DSGVO, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transmission of this data to a third party.

Right of objection (Art. 21 DSGVO)

If data are collected on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f (data processing to protect legitimate interests), you have the right to object to the processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. We will then no longer process the personal data unless there are demonstrably compelling reasons worthy of protection for the processing which outweigh the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
